Ghosts at the Red Lion, Kidlington

8 April 2021 (Updated 20 September 2022)

The building that now houses the Red Lion pub in Kidlington is a modern one, but an older inn of the same name used to stand on the site until it was unfortunately destroyed in a fire.

The pub is reported to be haunted by the ghost of a woman who lived in a nearby caravan that was caught up in the same fire that destroyed the pub. The ghost is said to throw objects around, particularly in the kitchen and the upstairs bathrooms.
